Why VAs choose RecruitSmart
Choose your route
If you already have strong UK OA sourcing experience, apply through the Experienced route. If you are newer and want to build the right skills properly, apply through the Qualification route.
This route is designed for VAs who want to properly learn Amazon sourcing and build the skills needed to work with sellers.
This route is strictly for experienced Amazon sourcing VAs who already understand the UK Online Arbitrage marketplace and can consistently find profitable products.
Hi, I'm Reece, one of the founders of RecruitSmart alongside Sean and Kal.
I’ve spent over four years specialising in Virtual Assistant recruitment, placing more than 100 VAs across different roles, both inside and outside of the Amazon industry.
Before this, I spent over 12 years working in e-commerce, building and scaling online businesses.
RecruitSmart is part of the SellerSmart ecosystem, which includes our prep centre (PrepSmart), mentorship programmes, seller community, and other e-commerce services.
Our focus with RecruitSmart is simple: raise the standard of VA recruitment by providing proper training, structured placements, ongoing aftercare support, and making sure VAs have a voice throughout the process.
For VAs with a minimum of 2+ years UK sourcing experience. A clear process to assess your skills and match you with the right opportunity.
Complete the experienced VA application so we can review your UK sourcing background, tools, and experience.
We speak with you directly to understand your sourcing workflow, communication, and overall experience level.
You complete a practical sourcing task to show your ability to analyse and find profitable UK OA products.
Successful candidates can then be matched with an Amazon business looking for a skilled long-term sourcing VA.
For VAs with 0–2 years experience who want to properly learn Amazon sourcing through a structured 3-week training process.
Submit your details so we can review your application and confirm if the route is the right fit for you.
Successful applicants enter our structured 3-week training programme covering the full foundations of Amazon sourcing.
You learn Keepa, SellerAmp SAS, product research, profitability checks, risk management, and sourcing workflows.
At the end of training, you complete a sourcing assessment to demonstrate your progress and skill level.
Candidates who pass may become eligible for placement opportunities with Amazon businesses in our network.
This is built for VAs who want to properly learn Amazon sourcing, not just watch a few videos and guess their way through. Over 3 weeks, you’ll be trained, tested, and guided through real-world sourcing so you can build the skills needed to work confidently with Amazon businesses.
You’ll learn Amazon sourcing properly from the ground up, including Keepa, SellerAmp SAS, product analysis, profitability checks, sourcing methods, risk management, and much more.
You’ll get full access to the course, live group calls, 1:1 support, and step-by-step guidance throughout the programme so you always know what to improve next.
Each day you’ll complete quizzes and practical work designed to test your understanding, with feedback to help you strengthen weak areas and improve quickly.
At the end of the programme, you’ll complete a final sourcing assessment. Those who meet the required standard may then become eligible for placement opportunities.
Not necessarily. If you already have 2+ years of UK Amazon Online Arbitrage sourcing experience, you can apply through the Experienced VA Route.
If you have little or no experience, you can join the Qualification Route, where you’ll go through our structured 3-week Amazon sourcing training programme designed to build the exact skills sellers look for.
Most RecruitSmart VAs specialise in product sourcing for Amazon FBA sellers.
This involves researching products online, analysing data using tools like Keepa and SellerAmp SAS, and identifying profitable deals that Amazon sellers can purchase and resell.
Other tasks may include updating sourcing sheets, product research, and basic admin tasks depending on the client.
The Qualification Route training programme lasts 3 weeks.
During this time you will complete structured lessons, daily tasks, quizzes, and practical sourcing work designed to help you develop real-world Amazon sourcing skills.
At the end of the programme, you’ll complete a final sourcing assessment.
We cannot guarantee placement, but if you pass the final assessment, you'll be eligible for placement opportunities with Amazon sellers in our network.
Our goal is always to match qualified VAs with serious long-term clients whenever possible.
You’ll learn how to use the same tools that professional Amazon sellers rely on, including:
• Keepa for analysing product sales history
• SellerAmp SAS for profit calculations and product analysis
• Product research tools and sourcing workflows
• Risk management and deal evaluation
These tools are essential for working in Amazon sourcing.
Starting salaries typically range from:
Qualified VA: around ₱25,000 per month
Experienced VA: around ₱30,000 per month or more
Many VAs also earn bonuses, incentives, or long-term pay increases depending on their performance and the client they work with.
If you don’t pass the assessment, it simply means you may need more time to develop your skills.
In some cases we offer additional guidance or opportunities to apply again in future training rounds once you’ve improved your knowledge.
Applying for the Experienced VA Route is free.
The Qualification Route includes a one-time ₱2,500 training fee, which helps cover part of the software tools and mentorship provided during the programme.
Most placements are full-time roles, but the exact schedule depends on the seller you are matched with.
Many Amazon sellers operate in different time zones, so flexibility and good communication are important.
RecruitSmart focuses on long-term career placements, not random freelance work.
Every VA goes through structured screening and training, and we aim to connect candidates with serious Amazon businesses looking for reliable long-term team members.
Our goal is to build stable working relationships that benefit both the VA and the seller.
